Terms of Service

Effective date: September 13, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These terms apply to your use of Where’s My Signal? (“WMS”). By signing in or using WMS, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use WMS.

What WMS provides

WMS helps you prioritize job applications. You provide your background, preferences, and job postings you’re considering; WMS analyzes each posting against your background and preferences and gives you a Priority Score, a recommendation, and the reasons behind them. You can save jobs to Applications and track their status.

The Priority Score and recommendations are informational tools to help you decide where to spend your effort. They aren’t a prediction of whether you’ll be interviewed or hired.

Your account

You sign in to WMS with a Google account. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.

Content you provide

You keep ownership of the content you provide, such as your resume, preferences, and the job postings you submit. You give WMS permission to process that content, including by sending it to its service providers, as needed to provide the service and as described in the Privacy Policy.

Only provide content you have the right to use and submit. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

Acceptable use

When using WMS, don’t:

  • Use it for anything unlawful, or to harass, harm, or impersonate anyone;
  • Submit content you don’t have the right to use, or content that is malicious;
  • Try to get around its security, sign-in, or usage limits, or access other people’s accounts or data;
  • Scrape it, or use bots or other automation to access it in ways that burden or abuse the service;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, or otherwise misuse it.

AI-generated analysis

WMS uses AI to analyze resumes and job postings. AI-generated analysis can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong — it may misread a job’s requirements or your background. Use it as one input, and check anything important yourself.

No employment guarantees

WMS is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or job-placement service, and it doesn’t apply to jobs on your behalf. WMS doesn’t guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or any other outcome, and doesn’t determine whether you’re eligible for a job.

You’re responsible for verifying a job’s requirements and details with the employer and for deciding whether and how to apply.

Service availability and changes

WMS is an early-stage product. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.

Third-party services

WMS relies on third-party services, such as Google for sign-in, OpenAI for AI analysis, and PostHog for product analytics. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies, and WMS isn’t responsible for them.

Intellectual property

WMS’s branding, original content, and other materials provided by WMS are owned by WMS and its operators or used under applicable licenses. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

Ending your use of WMS

You can stop using WMS at any time and delete your account from Settings, as described in the Privacy Policy. Access may be suspended or ended for accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

Disclaimers

WMS is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, WMS makes no warranties about the service, including that it will be accurate, complete, reliable, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that it will meet your needs.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, WMS and its operators aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service — including missed opportunities or decisions about which jobs to apply to.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as WMS changes. When they are, the effective date at the top of this page will change.
